The Miracle Drug (sort of)

So after losing 10 pounds and being very dehydrated I was put on the Zofran pump. I wear it across my shoulder like a small purse and it pumps meds straight into my stomach. I have had minimal throwing up since which has been wonderful. I feel like I ran a marathon everyday (so am just that exhausted) but keeping more food down is great. I am much more hydrated but am still losing weight (even after eating Cold Stone last night). Best diet ever :-)

Problem is that my stomach isn't healing well after I change the injection sites so I am running out of places to stick myself. Once I run out of sites I will have to go off the medicine for awhile and see what happens. If I still get sick then they will consider a pic line but jeesh... So we'll see.

Neutral

Neutral is going to be the word of this pregnancy. We had "the" ultrasound on October 10th and Baby Franzen is doing very well. 10 fingers, 10 toes, all organs on the inside etc... but did not find out a gender. So, the colors of the winter and spring at the Franzen household are green and yellow :-)

On another note I am still throwing up and since we should be past that "stage" I am very dehydrated and continue to lose weight. Today I go for the zofran pump and have high expectations. Update later

This is our first attempt at a blog so bear with us :-)

We thought that this would be a great way to document the pregnancy as well as the life of Baby Franzen (a.k.a Joey like a kangaroo and Bubba at this point).

October 1o - the Ultrasound day! We are still debating on whether to find out or not. We will keep you posted and definitely post the ultrasound pic!
